SUMMARY - My experience as a wife, parent, student, employee, employer, and school volunteer have prepared me to teach with warmth and strength. In the fourth grade we conducted a science crop growing project and successfully earning a grant. In the second grade I helped turn the classroom into a rainforest to study the climate, vegetation, animals and effects on the environment. When in Kindergarten I excited my class using the 5 senses guy, with poster connections, songs, poems, and computer activities. Experiences with student from many ages, emotional and physical development levels has been very valuable preparation. 2000-2002 Teaching Partner placed in Cahokia for two years by SIUE, Professional Development School (PDS) programs first graduating class. Given the responsibility of classroom duties including record keeping, organizing library, lesson planning, and teaching.
